Cars for Stars in London is licensed to provide private hire by the Public Carriage Office, who operate on behalf of Transport for London. Cars for Stars does not believe that it is right to take risks with the health and safety of our customers. Therefore we welcome the stringent regulations and rules that come with being a PCO  Licensed Private Hire Operator.

As a Licensed Private Hire Operator, Cars for Stars is subjected to regular checks by the Public Carriage office to ensure that we are complying and following all of the regulations required to maintain the License. In addition, every stretched limousine offered for hire, must also be subjected to and pass regular inspections, which are much tougher than a standard MOT test. The tests, for example, also cover every electrical item inside the vehicle, including the lights, to ensure that they are working.

Our chauffeurs must also me licensed to drive our limousines or chauffeur driven cars. This process is also managed by the Public Carriage Office and includes a medical and a criminal records bureau, providing additional peace of mind for our customers.

lIMOUSINE HIRE

No two limo companies are alike and the same rule applies to limousines. Stretched limos can be purchased for as little as £10,000 and can go beyond £150,000, so there is a world of difference between every limo. In addition, there are still some stretched limousines in the UK that are more than 25 years old. Now, some of these may be in better condition than limousines that are just a few years old, but this point is made only to highlight the fact that you are never likely to get an 'apples for apples' quotation in the limo hire business.

We will even take the precaution of changing every single glass even if we know they have not been used. Similarly, because we recognise that few limousine companies meet our exacting standards and fleet quality, we will never outsource a limousine hire to a third party. With a wide range of vehicles, Cars for Stars is also perfectly placed to offer a range of services, for example, we offer a 'Royal Ascot Racing package whereby we will provide a stretched limousine, table, chairs and an open sided marquee for the day. No to mention a few bottles of wine and a bottle of Champagne. If this is not your cup of tea, Cars for Stars can also offer event transport to other major UK events, such as Formula 1 at Silverstone, the Cheltenham Festival, FA Cup finals, The Championships at Wimbledon etc.

Cars for Stars also offers tour services, with or without a tourist guide. These can include any locations, but the most common requests are for tours of London, the west country, south coast and the lake district. Cars for Stars also offer a 'packaged' options if you need to take clients or colleagues out to lunch or dinner. In the case of the first option, we will collect you and your guest from you office, transport you down to the River Thames in a quality chauffeur driven cars, where you will enjoy a cruise and a 3 course meal, we will then return you to your offices, takes just 3 hours in total and provides for a happy customer.

Similarly, we can offer the same type of service in the evening. However, this will include a chauffeur driven car (or limousines) to collect you and your guest from your hotel, home or offices and then onto the River Thames. When you have boarded for your cruise, you will receive the best seating, and a Champagne, 5 course a la carte meal, followed by live music and dancing. At the end of the evening your personal chauffeur for the evening will take you back to your hotel, or home. If you prefer and the night is young you may opt to have you chauffeur take you and your guest into the west end.
